🦩 Bennu Pet in Grow a Garden — Mythical
Bennu is the Mythical pet of the Anubis Event, a 9.5% hatch from the Anubis Egg. It is a clean-up bird: it eats a fruit carrying a bad mutation (Rot, Blight or Pestilent) and, when the roll succeeds, gives you one of three rewards, a Gilded mutation, a shorter egg hatch or a pet age-up.

⚡ What Bird of Creation does
The wiki's ability text: Occasionally consumes a Rot, Blight or Pestilent fruit (Ignores favorited) for a chance to apply Gilded, speed up an egg or age up a pet! The ability data spells it out. Every 20 minutes at base weight the Bennu eats one unfavorited fruit that has the Rot, Blight or Pestilent mutation. There is then a 15% chance of one of these:
- Gilded: the Gilded mutation (×15) is applied,
- Egg: an egg's hatch time is cut by 10 minutes at base weight (up to 20 minutes), or
- Age: a pet in your garden gains an age.
The text doesn't say which of the three happens or how it chooses, and it doesn't say which fruit receives Gilded. Rot and Blight are ×8 mutations that lower a fruit's appeal in trades, so the Bennu is also a way to dispose of them, but note it needs such a fruit to act at all: with no Rot, Blight or Pestilent fruit in the garden there is nothing for it to eat.
📈 Bennu stats by weight
| Pet weight | Cooldown | Chance it works | Egg hatch time cut |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10 kg | 18:00 | 16.5% | 11:00 |
| 25 kg | 15:00 | 18.75% | 12:30 |
| 50 kg | 10:00 | 22.5% | 15:00 |
| 100 kg | 10:00 | 30% | 20:00 |
From the wiki's ability data (a base value, a step per kg and a cap). Pet mutations add more on top; the pet mutations list has them.
The cooldown drops 12 seconds per kilogram to a 10-minute floor at 50 kg. The success chance and the egg time cut keep rising until 100 kg, where they double to 30% and 20 minutes. The pet KG calculator turns age into kg; the age calculator shows what an age-up is worth in XP.
🥚 How to get it
The Anubis Egg (4-hour hatch) gives a Bennu 9.5% of the time, about 1 egg in 11. The egg is the stage 5, 8, 12 and 19 reward on the Anubis Archaeology platform (two eggs at stage 19) and sells in the Anubis Coin Shop for 3,000 Anubis Coins, 149 Robux or 149 Trade Tokens, 25% stock chance, after 6 excavations. The Premium Anubis Egg has the same 9.5%. A Sepulchral Bennu is the 13% result of the Sepulchral Premium Anubis Egg.
